Handcrafted prints from century-old presses, tailored for you.

Open Access

Our open-access studio offers a fully equipped letterpress and printmaking workspace available for hire and tuition, featuring Adana and Kelsey parlor presses, Asbern and Ronai proofing presses, a traditional etching press, and a 1909 Chandler & Price platen press. Printers and students have access to eight cabinets of lead type for hand-setting— including our house fonts Centaur and Dante—along with facilities for producing photopolymer plates for contemporary workflows. Whether you’re developing new skills or embarking on a professional project, the studio provides the tools and guidance needed to explore the full breadth of relief, letterpress, and intaglio printing.

Custom Prints

We welcome artist collaborative projects across a wide range of printmaking techniques, including etching, lino block and other relief processes, wood engraving, monotype, collagraph, and mezzotint. Our master printing service can bring your artistic vision to life, offering skilled craftsmanship and technical expertise at every stage, or we can work alongside you to help develop and refine your own approach.

From artist books to limited-edition prints and broadsheets, we support the creation of unique, crafted works that honour both the artist’s intentions and the historical traditions of printmaking.

We periodically offer workshops (or on demand) in lino block cutting and printing, wood engraving, and etching, tailored for illustration, fine art, and editioning. Instruction is available in traditional letterpress skills including handsetting and printing, allowing participants to engage directly with type and tactile printing processes. These sessions provide hands-on guidance for both beginners and experienced practitioners.

In addition, we offer tuition in the making of clamshell boxes and artist books, giving participants the opportunity to develop skills in book arts and produce professionally finished, bespoke pieces.
