About Us

The HipCat Gallery is part of the HipCat Printery (an artist access studio). The Gallery has 17 mtrs of wall space; is purpose built and dedicated to showing the best works of Australian & International contemporary artist printmakers. Many galleries in Australia and overseas see the artists rather than the artworks as their revenue stream. HipCat believes that artists in Australia deserve better... The Hipcat gallery is dedicated to better and believes that artworks are the commodity, not the artist! Our terms are simple. We take 30% of any sales we make or from sales which arise from showing with us. We do not charge for anything else.
